Frank Charles Trotter

Reidsville – Frank Charles Trotter, 68, of 109 Neal Street, died on Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, October 2, at Covington Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. A.C. Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence. Frank was born in Rockingham County to the late Charles Austin Trotter and Virginia Southard Trotter. He was a member of Covington Wesleyan Church and an avid Carolina Tarheel fan, softball player and fisherman. He was a loving father and loved mowing grass. He never met a stranger and would do anything for everybody. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughters, Mary Beth Harris and Melody Martin; brother, Randy Lee Trotter. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Knighten Trotter; sons, Randy Lee Trotter and Brandon Charles Trotter; daughter, Missy T. Gover and husband, Jimmie Gover; granddaughters, Candy Harris, Jessica Martin, Amber Martin and Cassie Gover; grandsons, David Harris, Jr. and Austin Charles Trotter; five great grandchildren; sisters, Ann Cox, Irene Bray and Carolyn Starnes and husband, Larry.
