Gail Spencer Marble

Reidsville: Gail Spencer Marble, 77, of 1006 Hillsdale Street, died Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Rockingham County Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, October19, 2010 at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Heath Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Marble was born in Freedom, New York to the late Glenn and Sarah Marble and was retired from Mendenhall Auto Auction. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Barbara Marble; sister, Althea Bialy; brothers, Nelson, Marlin, Laverne, and Norman Marble. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Ferguson; children, Geraldine Weaver (Lester), Gordon Marble (Deborah), Shirlee Holt (Randall), Carol Allen, Janice Morgan (Ron), Bradley Marble (Susan),Theresa Whalen (Rick), Michael Marble (Emma) David Marble (Bonnie), Dean Marble (Edris); step children, Linda Glaspie ( Mike), Jimmy Ferguson (Sheryl), Tommy Ferguson (Tanya), Michael Ferguson (Penny) and Freddie Ferguson(Ann); 25 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, October 18 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and at other times at the home.
