Gary Allen

Gary Allen, 62, of Reidsville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2024, surrounded by family and friends.

A graveside inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Happy Home Cemetery, 6941 NC-700, Ruffin, NC 27326.

Gary was born and raised in Reidsville, NC. He enjoyed watching sports, playing with his dogs, and spending time with his grand babies. When Gary wasn't at work at DB Schenker, you could find him mowing his grass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Audrey Allen, as well as many other loved ones.

Gary is survived by his wife Kim Allen; son, Jay Allen (Ashley); daughters, Amber Dearing, Kristen Evans, and Brittany Hairston; grandchildren, Axton, Nikolai, Chance, Dakota, Carter, and Olivia; brother, Barry Allen of Ruffin, NC; and many special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the home, 3169 Grooms Rd., Reidsville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Gary, to Hospice of Rockingham County.
