Gary Franklin Easter

Gary Franklin Easter, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at his home in Reidsville.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Marvin Bowman officiating.

Gary was born on December 31, 1950, to the late Cecil Easter and Nannie Mae Mabe Bolden. Gary enjoyed anything outdoors including hunting, target shooting, riding ATV’s and spending time with his family on the water at the lake house. Gary was also a “Jack of all trades” and could fix almost anything. He was a master in electronics and worked for American Tobacco and later Brown-Williamson after 30 years of service. More than anything, Gary loved his family and was dedicated to them and his friends. He will be remembered for his good advice and words of wisdom in any situation and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his daughter, Tosha Brown and husband Norman; grandson, Jacob Chatmon and fiancé Erica; beloved girlfriend, Rose Garner; brother, Ricky Lane Easter; sister, Robin Easter; niece, Daisy Mae Easter in addition to other extended family.
