Reidsville – Georgia Ann Perkins Emerson, 58, of 525 Highland Park Drive, Suite A, Eden, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Rockingham County Hospice Home.Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Templeton officiating. Interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery in Eden.Mrs. Emerson was born in Rockingham County to the late George Perkins and Etta Gibbons Dyson. She retired from Bank of America after 18 years of service and was a two time breast cancer survivor.She is survived by her husband, Ralph Emerson of the home; son, Scott Emerson and wife, Wendy of Tobaccoville, NC; much adored grandchildren, Abbey and Emily Emerson; brothers, Tommy Perkins and wife, Glenda of Reidsville, Frankie Dyson and wife, Rita of Salisbury; sisters, Jean Isley, Mary Hayes and Cora Bussell all of Reidsville and loving mother-in-law, Naomi Talbott Emerson of Eden.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 from 7-9 PM.Other times at the home of Tommy and Glenda Perkins, 3105 Vance St. Ext.
