Gerald William Overby, Sr. 79, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating. The family will see friends on Friday evening, December, 27, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Mr. Overby was born to the late Robert Jackson Overby and Beulah Evans Overby. He was a farmer and was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Lee Overby and Ronald Jackson Overby and sister, Evelyn Light. He is survived by his daughters, Tina Camacho and Tracy Cordova; sons, Jerald William Overby, Jr., Shane Troy Overby, Jason Lee Overby; grandchildren, Noah Camacho and Matthew Cordova; brother, Karl Duane Overby, Sr. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
