Geraldine Frick Evans

Geraldine Frick Evans, 96, of 147 VFW Road, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Rockingham County Hospice Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM, on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Greg Robertson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Geraldine was born in Richmond County to the late Roy and Gathy Foreman Frick. She was a retiree if Burlington Industries and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Evans; daughter, Charlene Hawks and sons, Charles Evans and Billy Evans. Survivors include her daughter, Marie Law and son, Bobby Evans and wife, Carol; grandchildren,Tommy Law and wife, Shirley, Gary Law and wife, Dawne, Billy Evans and wife, Jeannie and Bryon Evans and wife, Denise; great grandchildren, Melissa Owens, Daniel Law and wife, Amanda, Evan Law, Megan Hanes, Chelsea Carlan and husband, Chris, Cody Compton, Katie Evans, Brandon Evans, Amanda Evans and C.J. Evans; great great grandchildren, Ciera Owens, Melia Owens and Brock Owens; sister, Margie Harvey and many nieces and nephews.
