Gladys Fowler Buck

Reidsville: Gladys Fowler Buck, 92, of 112 Field Street, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Annie Penn Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Edwards officiating. Gladys was born in Danville, Va. to the late Eugene and Ruth Dabbs Fowler. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company and a member of Grace Covenant Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Buck and son, Clayborne Tate. Survivors include her daughters, Joan Norman and husband, Jerry and Judy Thacker and husband, Larry; son, Kenneth Buck and wife, Joyce all of Reidsville; eleven grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Roark of Tennessee and Lexie Garner of Greensboro. The family wishes to thank the staff of Annie Penn Hospital for the care given to Gladys during her stay there. There will be no formal visitation but the family will be at the home.
