Gladys Cooper Jordan

Reidsville – Gladys Cooper Jordan, 82, formerly of the Carolina House, died at Avante of Reidsville, Friday, July 30, 2010.A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Reidlawn Cemetery, with Bishop Neil Jacques officiating.Mrs. Jordan, a native of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, was the daughter of Garland C. and Hester Bolick Cooper. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, and was retired from Cone Mills with over 20 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death of her husband, Buddie Lee Jordan, 3 brothers, l sister and grandson, Brad Hohn.She is survived by her son, Michael Jordan and wife, Shelby of McLeansville; grandson, Chad Jordan and wife, Jennifer; Shelley Hohn, wife of her deceased grandson, Brad; great grandchildren, Brittany Hohn, Katlyn Hohn, Cameron Jordan; sisters, Bernice McKinney Gladkowski and Lucille Nunnally.The family would like to say thank you to the staff and management of The Carolina House and Avante of Reidsville for their love and care of Mrs. Jordan.The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 1, 2010, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM and other times at the residence of her son, Michael, 4517 Dicks Mill Road, McLeansville.
