Gibsonville – Gladys Eloise Reason Taylor, 84 of 400 Steele Street, passed away on Wednesday June 18, 2014 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Bray, Rev. Mark Gaffney and Rev. Lloyd Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Eloise was born in Wilson County on December 16, 1929 to the late Herbert James and Ida Pearl Webb Reason and was a retiree of Allen Bradley. She attended her home churches Andrews Memorial Baptist in Greensboro and Rock of Ages Baptist in Reidsville. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Taylor and brother, James Herbert Reason, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Brady, Carol Lovelace and Janet McMillion and fiancé, Ricky Slate; grandchildren, Chris McBride and Taylor McMillion; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn McBride; sister, Bea Dial and husband, Clyde; brother, Phil Reason and wife, Ella, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 20th from 6 – 8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence of her daughter, Deborah Brady, 7000 Hwy 61, Gibsonville.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Gittin, Dr. Phihfer, and Dr. Janice Massey for the care given to their Mother.
