Glen Ray Gilbert, Jr.

Glen Ray Gilbert, Jr., 56, of Reidsville, NC, passed away on August 11, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital. A celebration of life will be held on August 18, 2024, at 1 PM at Reidsville Lake Shelter #2. 

Glen was born in Forsyth County, Winston-Salem, to the late Glen Gilbert, Sr., and Jennifer Manus Gilbert. Glen was mostly known for being a fixer-upper and worked in maintenance for most of his life. When Glen was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his grandson Aiden, who was the center of his world. Glen enjoyed music, loved to fish and spend time with his loved ones. 

Along with his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his sister Tina. He is survived by his wife Crystal Gilbert and leaves behind two loving sons, Michael Gilbert and Wesley Gilbert, along with grandson Aiden Gilbert. He is also survived by his sister Vicky Bibee and plenty of nieces and nephews. 

If Glen were still with us, he would say to his sons, "Live your life, laugh again, enjoy yourself, be free... then I'll know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me!"
