Glenn Ray Newsome

Glenn Ray Newsome, 50, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord on Friday July 16, 2021.

A funeral Service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Andrews officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Glenn was born in Wake County to Donnie Newsome and the late Glenda Ross Newsome. He loved Tarheel basketball and sports. He enjoyed playing guitar and working on old cars. He loved his dog Clyde but most of all he loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Ross Newsome and his grandparents, Perry and Pamela Ross; Earl and Opal Newsome.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Christy Newsome; father, Donnie Ray Newsome; brother, Chris Newsome (Melissa); nephew, Zachary Newsome (Tori); niece, Ashlyn Newsome; great nephew, Blaze Newsome as well as a loving group of extended family and friends.
