Gloria Meeks Bray

Eden: Gloria Meeks Bray, 67, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Kindred Hospital.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Mrs. Bray was born on August 28, 1943 to the late Numa and Lelia Meeks. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church. Among her other interests she loved to work puzzles. Gloria loved being a homemaker and filling the home full of love for her family but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Foster and Cornelia Mae Meeks; brothers, Gary, Roger, Len and Donald Meeks and three nephews.She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Bray of Reidsville; son, James Bray and wife, Kristi of Eden; daughters, Kim Marshall and husband, James "Dinky" of Pelham and Cheryl Wyatt and husband, Billy of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Emily, Billy Jr. Wyatt and one more on the way; brothers, Marion Meeks and wife, Madiline, Charles Meeks and wife, Frances and Raymond Meeks and wife, Dreama; sister, Nellie Strader and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church and other times at the home of daughter Kim Marshall, 396 Lovelace Road, Pelham, NC.The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bray's honor to Mt.
