Grady Prescott Wall

Reidsville –Grady Prescott Wall, 89, of 175 Grady Road, died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Lawsonville Road Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Tuck officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Wall was born in Rockingham County to the late John Cleveland Wall and Rosa French Wall. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII and he retired from Burlington Industries after 33 years of service. He was a longtime member of Lawsonville Road Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Eunice Harris Wall. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Lovings Wall of the home; Son, Wayne B. Wall and wife, Diane of Wallburg, NC; Daughters, Alva W. Wilson, Dr. Sherri D. Flax and husband, Brian of Germantown, TN; Step-children, Sarah Neal and husband, Walter, Terry Hendley and wife, Emma; grandchildren, Wayne Wall, II, Kimberly Blair, Penny Wilson, Rebecca Flax; step-grandchildren, Brian Neal, Tracy Kipp, E.J. Hendley, Dwayne Hendley; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Irene Huskey. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 7-9 PM at Lawsonville Road Baptist Church. Other times at the home.
