Reidsville – Gus A. Shelton, Jr., 88, of Trinity, NC, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Hospice Home At High Point. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Chapel of WilkersonFuneral Home in Reidsville, NC.Mr. Shelton was born in Danville, Va. and was a son of the late Gustavious Adolphus Shelton, Sr. and Viola Bernard Shelton. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during WWII and was a retired salesman. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Montgomery Shelton; brother, Otis Shelton and sister, Jewell JonesHe is survived by his wife, Jean Austin Shelton; son, Gus A.
