Gwyn Tatarski Stone

Gwyn Tatarski Stone, 69, went home to be with her loved ones on March 19, 2020 at her home. There will not be any formal services at this time. Gwyn was born on January 25, 1951 to the late Louis Edward and Peggy Adams Tatarski in Reidsville, North Carolina. She graduated from Reidsville High school and later married David “Butch” Stone in 1968. Gwyn had a passion for horses and enjoyed going to Baltimore to the Preakness Horse Race’s with her family every year. Gwyn loved everything about going to the beach including the sea shells, water, fishing, crabbing. Gwyn retired as a postal service mail carrier from Atlantic Beach, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Butch Stone. She is survived by her brothers, Eddie and Joe Tatarski; children, Mitch Stone and wife Robin of Florida, Laura “Sissy” Barbour and husband Todd of Wilmington, NC, David Stone II of Morehead City, NC; grandchildren, Chrissy, Harrison, Leah, Noah; grand-puppies, Berkely, Bouy, chevy; and great-granddaughter, Macy.
