Harold Wayne Adams

Harold Wayne Adams, 62, passed away on September 6, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeong K. Jeon officiating. Interment will follow in Lively Stones Baptist Church Cemetery. Harold was born in Pittsylvania County to the late Early Sam Adams. Jr. and Doris Marie Wilson Adams and was a former employee of International Paper Company. Harold was a lifelong NASCAR fan and an avid Atlanta Braves, UNC and Carolina Panthers fan. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Harold Wayne Adams, II. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie Hedrick Adams; brother-in-law, Ray Hedrick and wife, Sun and niece, Gabby Hedrick. The family will see friends on Friday from 5-7 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
