Harriet Lawson Lyons

Reidsville – Harriet Lawson Lyons, 92, a longtime resident of Penn Nursing Center, went to be with her Lord on Monday, April 6, 2009. Mrs. Lyons was born in Lenoir, N.C. to the late Ishmon and Lilia Spells Lawson. Harriet was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving person who loved helping people and especially children whom all brought her great joy. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter Lyons; brothers, Arthur, James, and Daniel Lawson. Mrs. Lyons is survived by five nephews; one niece; sister-in-law, Vera Lawson and many extended family. The family received friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 11 am – 1 pm, Wednesday, April 8th, 2009.
