Harry Gale Strader

Reidsville: Harry Gale Strader, 68, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home and taken to Annie Penn Memorial Hospital. Harry will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memory Gardens with no formal services planned at this time. Harry was born December 2, 1948 in Rockingham County to the late Lee Roy Strader and Mary Edna Strader. Harry loved people and was a very good person. He loved the Lord, loved reading his Bible and never met a stranger. He retired from Proctor and Gamble. Along with his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his daughters: Lisa and Mary Strader; step-daughter, Penny Lynn Lochamy; and brothers: Harley, Melvin and Marvin Strader. Harry is survived by his wife, Mary Strader of Sandy Ridge, NC; step-sons: Wayne and Jerry McBride; step-daughters: Renda Ann Nance, Linda Kay Atkins, Reba Jane Hall and Tammy Farmer; grandchildren: Christopher Tover, Jessica Atkins, Chris Atkins, Edward Atkins, Russell McBride, Ashley McBride, AJ Adam Foust, and Tiffany Hope; sister; Barbara Jane Jenkins; and numerous great grandchildren.
