Hazel Echols Wilson

Hazel Echols Wilson, 79, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Richland Place, Greensboro.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ralph Clayton officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. The family will see friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00pm at the funeral home.

Hazel was born in Rockingham County to the late Jack and Ruth Collins Echols and was a retiree of Unifi. She was a member of Covington Wesleyan Church and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hal Wilson and 2 infant children; sisters Carolyn Echols and Sandra Manley; brother Joseph Echols and great grandchild Sebastian Ragan.

Hazel is survived by her son Stephen Wilson and wife Sandra; grandchildren Brandon Wilson and wife Amanda, Wesley Wilson, Samantha Wilson, Jackie Chaney and Dillon Chaney and wife Kristen; great grandchildren Jayden Wilson, Nathan Wilson, Cameron Ragan, Thomas Chaney, Natalie Wilson and  A.J. Hodge; brothers David Echols and wife Dolly, Donnie Echols, Jimmy Echols and wife Jennifer; brother-in-law Benny Manley; sister-in-law Ruby Echols and many nieces and nephews.
