Heather Owens Evans

Reidsville: Heather Owens Evans, 37, of 151 Radford Lane, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital and joined her dad in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. The interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her husband, Brad Evans of the home; her daughters, Emily and Breanna Owens of the home; her mother, Judy Lester and husband, Dewey; her brother, Chris Harmon; her grandfather, John Tucker all of Reidsville; step sister, Kim Lester; stepbrother, Steve Lester and wife, Kathy; nephew, Nathan Lester; and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Harmon. Heather was a native of Rockingham County and a member of “The Rock” Church of the Living God. She was employed as the loan processor for Equity Resources. The world is at a loss without her radiant light. She was a wonderful, sassy, brilliant, kind and gracious wife, mother, daughter and friend. There are not enough words to express all that she was to us. She always dreamed of being a mom and her passion was to help others. She never met a stranger, while her presence filled the room with warmth and love. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 3, from 5 – 7:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
