Helen "Mimi" Combs White

Reidsville- Mrs. Helen “Mimi” Combs White, 75, of Reidsville, passed away on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2014, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2014, at 3:00 PM in Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Tolodziecki officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. White was born on January 15th, 1939, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Herbert Rayne Combs and Carrie Evelyn Bradsher Combs. She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company. She was happily married to the man of her dreams for 56 years, Lester White. She always said she was living the fairy tale life. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her aunt, Margie Combs Wall. Survivors include her daughter, Ramona White Jessie; her grandchildren, Tonya Paschal and husband Larry McCusker, Tia Jessie Reid and husband Robert and Thalia Jessie; her great grandchildren, Kristen Lambert, Zachary Lambert and wife Hannah, Daniel Lambert and wife Megan, Brandon Paschal, Delante’ Enoch, Desire’ Enoch, Tori Jessie and Hunter Orr; great-great grandson, Bryson Hawkins and one on the way; her brother, Jerry Combs and wife Carolyn; four sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Saturday and Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Hawkins, Dr. Tom and to Valerie and Tommie from Hospice of Rockingham County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County or to Annie Penn Cancer Center.
