Helen Loftis Harrelson

Elon – Helen Loftis Harrelson, 73, of 847 Pagetown Road, died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Alamance Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Donald Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Helen was born in Rockingham County to the late Roy and Lorena Smith Loftis. She was a retiree of Burlington Industries and a member of Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Pete Harrelson, Jr.; son, Dennis Pete Harrelson and wife, Amy; daughters, Debbie Maness and husband, Charlie and Wanda Clark and husband, Tim; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby, Donald and Roger Loftis; sisters Rachel Smith, Vicky Rumly and Brenda Handy; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00PM Monday, April 5, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
