Helen Watkins Lawrence

Reidsville –Helen Watkins Lawrence, 54, of 7426 US Hwy. 29 Business, died on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Annie Penn Hospital Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Rockingham County to the late Raymond F. and Ada Shough Watkins. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Frith. She is survived by her husband, Claude Washington Lawrence, of the residence; sons, Konrad Clinton Lawrence and wife, Crystal, Steven Douglas Lawrence; three grandchildren, Chloe Lawrence, Kaleb Lawrence, Kailey Lawrence; five brothers, Raymond Watkins and wife, Ann, James Watkins and wife, Brenda, Walter Watkins and wife, Cathy, Danny Watkins and wife, Kathy, Bobby Watkins; three sisters, Betty Lou Joyce, Marie Hudson and husband, Jack and Annie Marilene Shelton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 PM and other times at the residence. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staffs of Annie Penn Hospital and Moses Cone Hospital for their kind and loving care given to Mrs. Lawrence.
