Henry Lee Bray

Reidsville: Henry Lee Bray, 68, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Beacon Place in Greensboro.A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.Mr. Bray was born on June 2, 1943 to the late Henry Clay and Elsie Chattin Bray. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church. Henry was a hardworking man that loved to help out anyone that needed help. He was a NASCAR fan. Henry loved his family but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Bray and brother, Paul Bray. He is survived by his son, James Bray and wife, Kristi of Eden; daughters, Kim Marshall and husband, James "Dinky" of Pelham and Cheryl Wyatt and husband, Billy of Danville, VA; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Emily, Billy Jr., and Abigail Wyatt; brothers, Wayne and Norman Bray; sisters, Janice Sharpe, Nancy Goforth and husband, John, Vickie Bray and husband, Carroll, Winifred LaFlame and husband Don; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Kenneth McKinney. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church and other times at the home of daughter Kim Marshall, 396 Lovelace Road, Pelham, NC.The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Bray's honor to Hospice and Palliative Care, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405.
