Henry Clifton "Cliff" Donathan

Reidsville: Henry Clifton “Cliff” Donathan, 78, of 247 Donathan Road, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County.. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. The interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. Cliff was born on July 31, 1938, in Rockingham County to the late Jasper V. and Ida Hanks Donathan. He retired from Ball Corporation after 25 years. He enjoyed spending time woodworking, farming and fishing. He was a very loving father, grandfather and friend. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Wyatt Donathan, and a brother, Luther Grover Donathan. He is survived by his sons, Ray Donathan and Timmy Donathan and wife Shannon; his grandchildren, Shawn Donathan, Taylor Willard and husband Kody, Chase Donathan and wife Cassidy and Kamryn Donathan; brother, Posey Donathan and wife Dare; sisters, Irene D. Rape and Ethel Jean Harris and husband Butch, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M., Monday, October 24, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Ray’s home, 267 Donathan Rd.
