Ruffin – Henry Wayne “H.W.” Walker, Jr. 48, of 2763 Oregon Hill Road, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at his home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Happy Home Congregational Christian Church Cemetery with Rev. James Hodges officiating. H.W. was born in Rockingham County to Henry Wayne Walker, Sr. and the late Mary Frances Hundley Walker. He was a bus mechanic for the Rockingham County School System, a cabinet maker, plumber and did lawn care maintenance. He loved racing and going to tractor pulls. Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Abner Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Hundley. Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Lipford Walker; daughter, Danielle Nicole Walker both of the home; father, Wayne Walker of Eden; sister, Virginia Walker Matney and husband, Amos of Spencer, VA; brothers, Donald Glenn Walker and wife, Melissa of Reidsville and Jason Landon Walker and wife, Ginger of Eden; in-laws; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lipford; seven nieces and nephews and his dog, “Lucie”. The family will see friends Friday, April 29, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM and other times at the residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
