Herman Lewis Jones

Reidsville – Herman Lewis Jones, 68, of 1202 Gunn Street, Apt. 2D, died Thursday, April 30, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Bowman officiating. Mr. Jones was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late Hugh Leonard Jones and Annie Estelle Lunsford Jones. He was a self employed painter and of the Baptist faith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Della Estella Jones and brothers, David L, Raymond L, and Lexie Dean Jones. Survivors include his sister, Margaret Mullis; brother, Charles Jones both of Danville; sister-in-law, Mary Moore and friend, Tamara Scottie Clemons both of Reidsville. The family will see friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday evening at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
