Reidsville: Holden Taylor Ledbetter, 19, 236 Holly Hill Drive, died Friday, February 27, 2009. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Dr. Doug McLeroy and Rev. Arthur Holland officiating. The interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Holden was born in Guilford County and lived in Reidsville all of his life. He worked with his dad at M & D Electric. He was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and also attended 1st Presbyterian Church of Reidsville. He graduated from Reidsville High School with the Class of 2008. Holden was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, Troop # 4781 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church on June 14, 2007. He loved to deer hunt and enjoyed volunteering for Carolina Cross Connections. Holden was kind and generous. We were very proud of him and his accomplishments. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harry Taylor Ledbetter and uncle, Randy Howard Dockery. He is survived by his parents, Taylor and Gina Ledbetter and his brother, Jordan all of the home; paternal grandmother, Bessie Ledbetter; maternal grandparents, David and Sandra Craig all of Reidsville; aunts, Hilda Holt and husband, G.B., Gloria Still; uncles, David Craig, II, Jack Dockery and Randy Ledbetter and wife, Helen; extended family and many close friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday, March 3 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times at the residence. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilkersonfuneral.com
