Reidsville - Howard Reiley Brink, 64, of 194 Mamie Lane, passed away Monday, December 12 at Wesley Long Community Hospital.Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 15 at 10:00 AM at Holy Infant Catholic Church with Father Joseph Mack. Mr. Brink was born on August 12, 1947 to the late Leon and Doris Gage Brink. He served as a veteran in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He was retired from Carolina Door Control after almost 30 years. He was a member of Holy Infant Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #939 and served as Past Faithful Navigator of Abbott Vincent G. Taylor Assembly #779. He was also Commander of the Color Corps for 7 years, Charter member of Father Francis Connolly Assembly #3253 and NC District Marshall. He loved traveling, camping and boating. He was a friend to many and was known for his infectious sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Penny Lee Brink of the home; daughter, Vicki "Girl" Williams of Winston-Salem; sons, Dennis "Zeke" Brink and wife, Tricia of Greensboro and Rick Brink of Charleston, SC; grandchildren, T.J. Brewer and wife, Kendra, Michael and Brittany Brink; great granddaughter, Haven Brewer; brother, Sanford Brink and wife, Dianne of Richmond, VA; sister, Robyn Essler and husband, Dan of Albany, WI; nieces, Lesley Wheatley and husband, Jim, Pam Martin and husband, Tom and Samantha Essler.The visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and the family will receive friends other times at the residence.Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Infant Catholic Church Building Fund, P.O.
