Hubert Giles Ferguson

Reidsville- Mr. Hubert Ferguson, 85, went home to his Lord and Savior, June 25th, 2017. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. Ralph Clayton officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Hubert was born March 24, 1932 to the late James Thomas Ferguson and Ollie Loftis Ferguson. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He faithfully served his country while in the U.S Army. Mr. Ferguson was the owner and operator of Ferguson Heating and Air for over 30 years. He loved the game of golf and spent a lot of time gardening and keeping his yard meticulous. He will be remembered by those who knew him for his comedic sense of humor. He especially adored spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Hubert was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Nancy Jones Ferguson; Brothers James Ferguson, Willie Ferguson, Neal Ferguson and wife Carrie Lea, Bernard Ferguson and sister Viola Strider. Survivors include: Daughters, Diane Barber and husband Wayne, Lisa Bernier and husband Danny; Grandchildren, Errin French (Dorian), Devan Simmons (Dustin), Jeremy Baynes (Kaitlin) and Jordan Baynes along with 9 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
