Ida Donavee Vaden

Reidsville: Ida Donavee Vaden, 67, passed away at Annie Penn Hospital on Sunday, July 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Luttrell officiating. Interment will follow in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. Ms. Vaden was born in Rockingham County to the late, Reuben A. and Hazel Harrell Vaden. Donavee was employed with Burlington Industries, and later worked at Walmart. She faithfully attended Gospel Baptist Church. She loved her family and was always sentimental about the things that mattered most. Her favorite pastimes included quilting, traveling, and taking pictures. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Sue Vaden. She is survived by her brother Kenneth Vaden and wife, Kathy of Reidsville; nieces and nephews, Kelly Hart and husband, Mark, Kaleb Vaden, Kurt Vaden and wife, Shari, and Katie Rust and husband, Kevin; great nephews and niece, Jacob, Clayton, William, and Lilly; and numerous special friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15th at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 till 8:00 PM. At other times, they will be at the home of Kenneth and Kathy.
