Iola Holt Madison

Reidsville – Iola Holt Madison, 91, of 1022 Cypress Drive, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Rockingham County Hospice Home.Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Greenview Cemetery with Rev. Dan Jones and Rev Mark Tolodziecki officiating.Miss Madison was born in Rockingham County to the late James Carey and Nannie Williams Madison. She was a retiree of The American Tobacco Company and a member of First Congregational Christian Church. She had a great love for her family and her church and enjoyed doing things for others. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Leslie, Clarence and Oscar Madison and sister, Mary Shelton. Survivors include her nieces, Libby Thomas, Donna Cook and husband, Tony and Tracy Strader and husband, Wes; nephew, Brooks Madison; several great nieces and nephews.There will be no formal visitation but the family will be at the home of Tony and Donna Cook, 303 Shadowood Drive.Memorials may be made to the Rockingham County Hospice Home, P O Box 281, Wentworth, North Carolina 27375 or First Congregational Christian Church, 1863 South Park Drive, Reidsville, North Carolina 27320
