Isaac Stanley Tharp

Reidsville– Isaac Stanley Tharp, 60, of 1202 Gunn Street, Apt. 22 D, died at his residence, Saturday, June 5, 2010.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Vance Street Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Land officiating. Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.Mr. Tharp was born in Sutton, West Virginia to the late Isaac Brannon and Myrtle Baker Tharp. He attended Vance Street Baptist Church and had been employed at Stoneville Furniture. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Tharp and sister, Emma- Jean Elswick.He is survived by his brother, James Jr. Tharp; sisters, Evelyn Rinehart, of Reidsville, Helen McMillion and Ruth Kiser , both of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM And other times at the home of his sister, Evelyn Rinehart, 1909 Pickrell Road, Lot 32, Reidsville.
