Ivie Lipford Page

Ruffin: Ivie Lipford Page, 92, of 2153 Oregon Hill Road, died on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Happy Home Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Bruce McBride officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Page was born in Rockingham County to the late John Henry Lewis Lipford and Pattie Badgett Lipford. She retired from the American Tobacco Company after 37 years of service and was the oldest living member at Happy Home Congregational Christian Church. In addition to her parents , she was preceded in death by a grandson, Len Martin. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Page of the home; daughter, Gail Page Martin and husband, Leonard G. Martin of Ruffin; sons, Robert Lee Page and partner, Dale Frederiksen of Greensboro, Hunter E. Page and wife, Brenda C. Page of Ruffin, James Henry Page and wife, Nancy W. Page of Clarksville, VA; grandchildren, Kim M. Gauldin, Wendy Williamson, Owen, Ryan, Jason and Matthew Page; nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Monday, December 14th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
