J. C. Lovelace

Reidsville – J. C. Lovelace, 73, of 150 Talley Road, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2011, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Duane King officiating. Interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Dillon, Christopher Dillon, Paco Duerro, Greg Humphrey, Charles Williams and Justin Willard. A native of Rockingham County, J. C. was a son of the late Sam Pink Lovelace and Edna Durham. He retired from the City of Reidsville where he was the caretaker of Greenview Cemetery for over 20 years and attended Reidsville Baptist Church. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Lovelace. Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Lovelace; granddaughters, Patricia Martin, Crystal Brumage and Shannon Brumage; great grandsons, Caleb Martin, Adam Martin and Bragden Brumage; brothers, William Lovelace, Ernest Lovelace and Charles Lovelace; sisters, Jeanette McDaniel and Nancy Mabe. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM and other times at the residence.
