Jack Edward Cannon

Reidsville – Mr. Jack Edward Cannon, Sr., 74, of Reidsville, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at 2:00 PM in Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor William Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. Cannon was born on September 13, 1938, in Rockingham County to the late Henry Russell and Cora Elizabeth McGeehee Cannon. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, Floyd and Charlie Cannon; one sister, Margaret; three grandchildren, Krystal Dawn Cannon, Sheena Marie Fuqua and Paul Gary Fuqua, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Lula Cannon of the home; sons Jack Cannon, Jr., Steve Cannon, Roger Cannon and wife, Colette, all of Reidsville, Jimmy Cannon and wife, Peggy of Stoneville; daughters, Teresa Harmon and husband Billy, Shelia Fuqua and husband, Paul, all of Reidsville; 12 grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren; sisters Mary Lou Martin and friend, John, of Horse Pasture, VA, Kathy Robertson and husband, Carl of Stoneville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, P.O.
