Summerfield—Mr. Jack D. (Demp) Holland, 84, of Summerfield, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at his home. Mr. Holland was born March 23, 1928 to the late Robert Woodsen and Clara Mae Moore Holland. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Stoneville and previously a member of First Pentecostal Church in Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Cary Dale Marshall; three brothers, Raymond, Kenneth and Claude Holland; one sister, Juanita Strader. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Holland of the home; sons, Timothy Lynn Holland of Reidsville and Donald Ray Marshall and wife Roxanne of Summerfield; one daughter-in-law, Belvia Marshall; grandchildren, Diane Morris and husband Billy; Heather Yarrington and husband Brian, Whitney Marshall, Morgan Marshall and Peyton; great-grandchildren, Cody Morris, Austin Morris, Dylan Morris, Hayley Yarrington, Bryson Yarrington and Braden Yarrington; sister Bennie Anne and husband Glenn Sisk of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. Matthew Green and Dr. R. D. Hamman will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Lawn Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
