Jack Allen Pruitt

Jack Allen Pruitt, 88, of Reidsville, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Kennon and Pastor Robert Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The graveside committal will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery Jack was born in Caswell County, NC to the late Will Calvin Pruitt and Nora Crowder Pruitt. He owned and operated Pruitt and Sons Home Improvement for many years. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. Jack was a fisherman and loved to watch the New York Yankees baseball games. He made his living working with his hands and was a very talented woodworker. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Roger Dale Pruitt; grandson, Michael Shane Gann; sisters, Lee Ward and Dorothy McDaniel. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Erma Mays Pruitt; son, Ronnie Pruitt (Kendra); daughter, Peggy Pruitt Lee; grandchildren, Cameron, Keenan, Rodney Pruitt and Allen Lee as well as 3 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Vivian G.P.
