Jackie Cleveland Snead

Jackie Cleveland Snead, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery with Pastor Milton Kennon officiating.  You may come by Wilkerson Funeral Home and pay respects to Jackie and view his body on Monday afternoon or Tuesday before 12:00 PM.  

Jackie was born in Rockingham County to the late Martin ”Bill” Snead  and Brookxie Foster Snead and was a retiree of Ball Corporation. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed many games with his buddies at Lynrock Golf Club. He was happy when fishing and doing yard work, especially working in his flowers. Besides his parents, Jackie was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Payne Snead and sister, Kay Dove.

Survivors include his son, Jackie Dwayne Snead and wife, Sharon; granddaughter, Brooke Roberts; great grandson, Dominic Michael Roberts; sisters, Jane Evans, Gayle Garner and husband, Phil, Peggy Booth and husband Curtis and brother-in-law, Mike Dove.
