Jake Wilson, Jr.

Jake Wilson, Jr., 85, of Avante at Reidsville, died on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Annie Penn Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Keith Wilson, Jr. officiating. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service from 6-7 PM. Jake was born in Rockingham County to the late Jake and Lala Peters Wilson and was a retired Boilermaker. He was a great family man and loved by all. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Wilson; son, Noel Edward Wilson and grandson, Jake Edward Wilson. Survivors include his children, Rodney Wilson and wife, Tammy of Reidsville, Cathy Taylor and husband, Donnie of Reidsville, Randy Wilson and wife, Shirley of Bassett, Va. and Mark Wilson and wife, Cathy of Reidsville; grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Tara Wilson, Jody Wilkerson, Renee Edwards, Randy Wilson, Jr., Misty Wilson, Mark Aubrey Wilson, Kelly Wilson Adams, Angel Wilson, Chrystal Pace; great grandchildren, Makayla, Ian, Bailey, Dylan, Taylor, Nora, Sterlin, Jade, Harley, Alex, Serria, Bryan, Jordan, Carter, Teague, Brody, Jake, Ryan, Ethan and Carter; great great grandson, Jace.
