Reidsville – James Thomas Bolden, 79, formerly of North Pointe of Mayodan, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Gilchrist and Rev. Tommy Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Mr. Bolden was born in Reidsville, NC and was a son of the late James Everette Bolden and Margie Jarrett Bolden. He served in the NC National Guard and retired from Motor Convoy. He was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and he was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dewey Bolden, Herman “Bo” Bolden and Johnny Bolden.
He is survived by children, Angela Foreman and husband, Ron of Southern Pines, NC, Diane Smith and husband, Clark of Raleigh, NC, Tim Bolden and wife, Teresa of Ruffin, NC, Sandi Aldridge of Reidsville, Lenny Bolden of McLeansville, Kim Fowler and husband, Steve of Reidsville; grandchildren, Ryan Foreman, Catherine Smith, Clark Smith, Shannon Campeau, Gail Bolden, Timmy Bolden, Rayne Fuller, Devan Bolden, Brianna Bolden, Kenan Bolden, Skyler Fowler, Luke Fowler; great grandchild, Christopher Campeau; Brothers, Richard Bolden, Jimmy Bolden and wife, Barbara, Bobby Bolden and wife, Dianne; sisters, Thelma Sexton, Maude Priddy, Elaine Strader, Lucille Tilley, Jackie Neal and husband, Gordon.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 17, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Other times at the residence of Maude Priddy, 877 Wolf Island Road, Reidsville.
