James Ricky French

Reidsville – James Ricky French, 51, of 477 Burton Road died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at his home.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, October 11, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Blackwell officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery.Rick was born in Rockingham County, NC. He was a sergeant with the North Carolina Department of Corrections and a deputy for the Rockingham County sheriff’s department. He was a wonderful father and beloved son and brother. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Holderby French.Rick is survived by his wife, Lydia French and his daughter, Hannah French both of Stoneville; his father, Elmer French and wife, Pat and brothers, Todd French and wife, Brenda and Tommy French all of Reidsville and a large extended family.The family will receive friends Sunday, October 10 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at Elmer and Pat’s home (2843 Oregon Hill Road, Ruffin).
