James A. "Jimmy" Setliff

Reidsville: James Abe (Jimmy) Setliff, 82, of 120 Crutchfield Road, Reidsville, passed away at Annie Penn Hospital on May 5, 2014. Jimmy was born in Rockingham County on January 16, 1932 to the late Charles Cleveland and Annie Lea Johnson Setliff. A very determined and hardworking man, Jimmy was employed by Horne Construction for most of his working life. He enjoyed country and bluegrass music, NASCAR, watching Andy Griffith and his Farmall 100 tractor. He loved his family very much especially his granddaughter, Ashley. Survivors include his wife, Shelby, of the home; his son, Tim and wife, Ruby; his daughter, Pam Setliff; his granddaughter, Ashley Setliff all of Reidsville; one brother, William Setliff of Ruffin. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Rev. C. Allen Myers officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, May 7, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and other times at the home.
