James Lee Cole, Sr.

Browns Summit: James Lee Cole, Sr., 70, passed away early Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at White Oak of Burlington nursing facility. A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Friendship United Methodist Church with Rev. Drew Hellams officiating. Mr. Cole was born on November 8, 1946 in Norfolk, VA to the late Harold Minton Cole and Jonsey Wolf Cole. He retired after 35 years from CP & L (Duke Power) in operations. James served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. James is survived by his wife Patricia Standridge Cole; two sons: James Lee Cole, Jr and wife, Monique and Richard Harold Cole and wife, Susan; grandchildren: Kierston Cole Davis and husband Chris, Breeanne Kelb and husband Joe, Shane Cole, Erek Cole, Alexandra Cole and Samantha Cole; great grandchildren: Beatrix Kelb and Levi Davis. Memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox (Parkinson’s) Foundation, P.O.
