James Nathan Parrish

Reidsville: James Nathan “Pole” Parrish, 50, of 603 Montgomery Street, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at High Point Regional Hospital. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home. A brief memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM during the visitation, with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. At other times the family will receive friends at Michael’s home (334 Penny Lane, Reidsville). Nathan was born in Rockingham County to the late Louise and Wilson Parrish. He worked primarily as a plumber but was also a gifted handyman. He was an avid NASCAR fan and he loved Carolina basketball and Western movies. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie. Nathan is survived by his sisters, Mary Alice Wilkins of Madison, Darnell Knox and husband, Fred of Gallatin, TN, Kathy Shelton and boyfriend, Tracy Southard of the home; brothers, Benny Parrish and wife, Cindy and Michael Parrish all of Reidsville; 5 nieces; 4 nephews; 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew.
