James Edward Scoggins

Summerfield-James Edward Scoggins, 66, of 330 Gem Stone Loop, died on Friday, October 21, 2011 at his residence.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 24, 2011 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Roland Shepley officiating. Mr. Scoggins was born in Guilford County to the late Edward Alton Scoggins and Pauline Gail Lee Scoggins. He retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after 36 years of service. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Greensboro. He was an avid fisherman and he loved his trucks. He was a loving husband and father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Gail Smith.Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Lee Scoggins of the home; his son, James Lee Scoggins also of the home; his brother, Robert Scoggins and wife, Pauline of Summerfield.
