James Scott "Scotty" Strader

James Scott “Scotty” Strader, 56, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

There will be no formal services at this time.

Scotty was born in Rockingham County and was the owner and operator of Scott’s Tree Service. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing and messing around with friends.

He is survived by his sons Justin Strader and Jason Strader; grandkids Kadance Strader, Jayden Strader, Harley Grace Strader, and Jaxson Strader; his parents, Jimmy Strader and Patricia Holt; brother Tracy Strader and wife Angel; sister Lisa Grissom and husband Randy; nieces Teri Zedd, Ava Strader, and Isabelle Zedd; nephew Preston Strader; and extended family.
