James Anthony Stone

Ruffin- James Anthony Stone, 55, of 332 Kennon Road, died on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at his residence.Funeral services will be on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Rock of Ages Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Doug Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church CemeteryMr. Stone was born in Rockingham County to the late Odell and Hilda Moore Stone. He attended Rock of Ages Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, in loving memory, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Lee and Roxie Moore and Sam and Georgia Stone; his brother-in-law, Jessie Overby Jr.; one niece and one nephew.He is survived by brothers, Clayton Stone and wife, Yvonne, Harold Stone and wife, Cindy; sisters, Dianne Terry and husband, Steve, Wendy Jeffries and husband, T J and Yvonne Smith and husband Jimmy; numerous nieces and nephews; very special neighbor, Brenda Wagoner.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and other times at 1979 Oregon Hill Road
