James Stuart Wilkinson

Reidsville,– James Stuart Wilkinson, 63, of 9736 NC Hwy 87, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral mass will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Holy Infant Catholic Church. The interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. James was born on June 6, 1949 in Rockingham County and was a former police officer and retiree of Frontier Spinning. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Ann Wagoner Wilkinson. Survivors include his sons Sgt. John Wilkinson and wife, Kathie and Michael Wilkinson; daughters, Heather May and Beverly Wright; grandchildren, Sarah Wilkinson, Sara, Sam, Austin and Eric; sister, Angelina Hicks and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, April 26, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at the home of Ricky and Patsy Cates, 312 Westminster Ave., Reidsville.
